Argentina Earthquake

It is surprising that while the world is just getting over the 7.0 Earthquake in Haiti and the recent quake in Venezuela, it was announced by USGS another Earthquake in Argentina. The quake hit at about 7.00 am EST (12.00 noon GMT), sunday in the Drake passage about 220 miles southeast of Ushuiaa, Argentina at about 13 miles below sea-level.
The Argentina Earthquake occur in the deep Ocean floor between south America and Antarctica. It was very far from the land to have caused any damage. There was on sign of the occurrence of Tsunami and there is no warning issued.

Port Au Prince Haiti

Aftermath of the 7.0 earthquake that struck Haiti, rescue work continued today. Four people were rescued from the rubble of a supermarket about four days after the incidence. Authorities said they had been feeding on the food and water the grocery store sells.
Meanwhile, the US rescue troops had distributed about 2500 meals to the survivor. Church service was held amidst rubble in which drumbeats reminded the people it was another sunday as people stood closer to the rubble of a cathedral.
